Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about PythonSkillset. The site is run by Rohan C, a solo developer in Pune, Maharashtra, India. I build features, fix bugs, and answer mail when I can.

Who runs PythonSkillset?

Rohan C — I develop and maintain the site myself. There is no big company behind it; availability and support scale with one person’s time.

Is the site free?

The main learning tools and pages are free to use. The site may show ads to help cover hosting and time. There are no paid products or checkout today; if that ever changes, it will be announced clearly on the site.

Do I need an account?

Many pages work without signing in. Features that need to remember you across devices (for example saved snippets or progress) may require an account if and when those features are enabled.

Where does my code run?

The in-browser editor typically runs Python locally on your machine using technologies like Pyodide, without sending your code to a server for execution unless a specific feature says otherwise. The code formatter may send code to the server to be processed — only use it for non-secret, non-production code you are allowed to share.

Are quizzes stored forever?

Quiz attempts may be logged for leaderboards or analytics as implemented. If you want data removed and the site offers an account, use account settings or email me. I will comply where technically possible and legally appropriate.

How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?

Email contact@pythonskillset.com or use the contact page. Include the URL, what you expected, and what happened instead.

Commercial use of the material

Unless a page states otherwise, assume educational content is for personal learning. For republication, training packs, or licensing, ask first by email.
